1. Scope of Application
These terms apply to the use of the FindMyDoc platform (findmydoc.ch), operated by RC REPRESENT CONSULTING GmbH, Hinterkappelen (hereinafter 'Operator'). By using the platform, you accept these terms.
2. Platform Services
FindMyDoc assists with orientation in the healthcare system: automated classification of symptoms by the relevant medical specialty, questions to prepare for the medical consultation with a report to take along, and search for medical practices. The classification may be inaccurate and does not assess how urgent a concern is. FindMyDoc is non-commercial, does not itself provide medical services and does not replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. In emergencies, call 144.
3. Beta Phase and Content
The platform is in beta phase. The range of functions, content and availability may change; there is no entitlement to uninterrupted availability. Guide, glossary and medicine content is prepared with care but may contain errors and does not replace professional advice. For medicines, the official package leaflet is authoritative.
4. User Obligations
You undertake not to enter names, contact details or information about third parties in the conversation that are not needed for orientation, and to provide information about third parties only with their consent. The platform must not be misused, in particular not for the automated extraction of directory information.
5. Contacting Practices
You arrange the appointment yourself, directly with the practice; FindMyDoc does not arrange appointments. The report reproduces your own information unchanged and is not a medical assessment. It is created only in your browser; keep it yourself, as FindMyDoc keeps no copy. The treatment relationship is established exclusively between you and the practice; the Operator is not a party to this relationship.
6. Practice Directory
The directory is free of charge and neutral: it lists the practices we find in public sources (OpenStreetMap, practices' websites, public appointment information); placements are not sold. Information, including on whether new patients are accepted and on available appointments, may be incomplete or out of date; only the practice's own information is binding. Practices can have their listing removed at any time or send corrections to office@findmydoc.ch.
7. Liability
The Operator is not liable — to the extent legally permitted — for damage arising from the use of the platform, in particular not for the accuracy of directory information, for the availability of practices or for decisions made based on the content of the platform. Liability for unlawful intent and gross negligence remains reserved.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
All content on the platform (text, design, illustrations) is protected by copyright. Directory data is partly derived from public sources (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL).
9. Final Provisions
Swiss law applies. Place of jurisdiction is — to the extent legally permitted — the registered office of the Operator. The Operator may modify these terms; the version published at any given time is applicable.
